Boom Box Club
London Club Cultures is always vibrant. However, Blitz Kids (people like Boy George and Steve Strange among them) are famous for launching the New Romantic cultural movement. They were all about being individual. There was a lot of bare flesh, freakish make-up, and outrageous style of clothing with inter-sexed style. There was no rules and no official dress code: "If you want to get into my club - make the effort!" statement attitude.
Blitz Kids influenced several musical pop groups. Among them is David Bowie, Madonna, AdamAnt, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Bjork. As well as music there are few fashion lines amd makeup designers who were inspired by New Romantics movement. Among them my favorites are: Heatherette, Alexander McQueen, Pat McGrath, Alex Box.
